The best bet in roulette is the one with the highest probability and lowest house edge, which is any of the following: red/black, odd/even, 1-18/19-36. These give you the biggest statistical chance of winning of all roulette bets. I appreciate your efforts in presenting a response to my post. This one is certainly more acceptable to me.
I would, however, like to say that my intentions were not to present a new 'system'... anyone who knows a thing or two about roulette is familiar with wagering on 2:1 'twelve' spots.
I was simply suggesting that if people want to have a good advantage over the house, they can play that system IF they don't sit at the table for too long. After all, on a $200 total wager... you stand to win $100 -- but also stand to lose $200. It's a give-and-take situation.
It's certainly a simple solution to most of those complicated programs out there, and it still gives you a fairly good advantage. There ARE tons of gambling systems out there that work based on wager amount and win ratio. These systems tend to limit your losses, but also limit your winnings. This keeps you at the roulette table longer -- which is the almighty 'no-no' of gambling.

The ‘Lucas’ series is 2 1 2 3 4 7 11 and when combined with the Fibonacci makes what I call the ‘Combo’ series: 1 1 2 3 4 7 11 for even money bets.
With these two series, one needs only a 33% win rate to usually come out ahead 4 units.

here is a simple wagering plan that will cover almost half the 0/00 wheel quickly and easily, betting on only 5 positions.
Bet 12 units on the 2nd dozen plus only 4 units more, specifically one unit each on the #30-28-7-9.
Provides a contiguous segment from #23 clockwise up to #22. The #8 & 29 are numbers covered in the opposite sector.
CAVEAT-Although, it’s obviously a convenient bet, with such a big sector it can invite aiming dealers. For those so inclined, you can chase with a power progression (Mart.) for 6 levels. Test and see, it has potentially good applications for signature play.
